Hello, I'm Andy Taylor.

I started as a player with dreams of becoming a tour player and winning majors. After my playing career, I found a passion for coaching, following stints in most areas of the golf industry, including holding a director of golf position at one of the most prestigious golf clubs in the UK.

I have completed a MSc in Sports Coaching at The University of Birmingham.

I have been coaching at my academy based at the Kirtlington Golf Club for over 15 years and also at my Indoor Golf Studio at Bicester Business, where I use all the latest technology available for coaching.

I am committed to providing ongoing golf coaching support to players, not just a quick fix but a more holistic approach with integrity.

What I'm passionate about...

I’m passionate about helping golfers grow — not just through quick fixes, but through a holistic and long-term coaching approach grounded in integrity. I founded Andy Taylor Golf Lab to provide trustworthy, ongoing support for players of all levels — from those new to the game to seasoned golfers striving for professional performance.

At the academy, we use the latest tools in modern coaching, including launch monitors and a cutting-edge 3D coaching system, to give every player the insight and support they need to elevate their game.

My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my students progress. I specialise in player development, with a particular focus on nurturing young talent. I believe every young person has potential within — and with the right environment and connection, they can thrive. That belief led me to develop the Tot to Tour coaching philosophy: a long-term development programme that equips young golfers with the skills, mindset, and confidence to compete at any level — and to love the game along the way.

When I’m not coaching, I love spending time with my family and staying active — whether it’s biking, swimming, or running. I’ve even competed in the UK’s second-largest triathlon, right here at Blenheim, just steps from the academy. One of my more unusual passions? After coaching the son of one of the UK’s top saxophonists, I was inspired to learn the saxophone myself — and I still enjoy the occasional open mic night.

Why I've Created the ATG Lab

I created Andy Taylor Golf Lab to offer something more meaningful than quick tips or one-off drills — I wanted to build a platform where golfers of all levels could truly improve. With every course, the focus is on structured, practical progress that helps you play better and reach your goals.

After years of coaching players in person, I saw the need for a space that could support golfers no matter where they are in the world. That’s what ATG Lab is all about — giving you the tools, guidance, and confidence to grow your game, unlock your potential, and enjoy golf even more.
